This policy explains how course fees are collected and the terms that apply to cancellations, transfers and refunds for Sunshine Coast Boat Licences. Course bookings and payments are handled by the training provider, Australian Boating College.

Sunshine Coast Boat Licences advertises courses delivered by licensed training providers, each operating their own business under the Australian Boating College brand. Student fees, whether for course enrolments or gift vouchers, are collected by the licensed provider delivering your course. The head office does not take direct payment from students.
Gift vouchers are for services offered directly by the licensed provider at the time of purchase, and should be redeemed directly with that provider. All enquiries about gift vouchers or enrolment fees paid, including refunds, rescheduling and cancellations, should be made directly to the provider delivering the service.
If you simply cannot attend your course, refunds are not available. However, given at least 48 hours notice, your booking and payment can be transferred to another date or another person, up to a maximum of three transfers.
If a course is cancelled by us for any reason, you have the option of transferring to another course or receiving a full refund.
If a payment on your credit card or PayPal account was not authorised by you, and you notify us before the course, we will provide a full refund. If the person who made the payment attends the course and we deliver the training to them, the service has been provided for that payment, and you should seek advice from Consumer Affairs about your options with that person.
